The Northwest Connecticut Balloon Festival Silas Brooks Award for 2004 goes to Edward Lappies Who passed away this past January at home in Hillsboro NH It is said that in ballooning, it is not the destination but the journey itself that makes it all worthwhile. Ed lived that saying with all who knew him. Soft landings and gentle breezes Ed. The Teddy Bear Balloon returns to Goshen this year!
